I'm recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded infrastructure consultancy that is continuing to grow its commercial team in Cardiff. This opportunity offers the chance to work on a broad portfolio of infrastructure schemes across Rail, Highways, Water, Utilities and Major Infrastructure, delivering projects for public and private sector clients throughout Wales and the wider UK.
The Role
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you'll take ownership of commercial delivery across multiple projects while supporting less experienced surveyors and maintaining strong client relationships.
Key responsibilities:
- Delivering pre and post-contract Quantity Surveying services
- NEC contract administration
- Managing cost reporting and forecasting
- Compensation event management
- Procurement and tender support
- Valuations and commercial reporting
- Stakeholder engagement
- Mentoring junior team members
About You
You'll ideally have:
- Senior Quantity Surveying experience within infrastructure
- NEC3 or NEC4 experience
- Consultancy, contractor or client-side background
- Excellent commercial and contractual knowledge
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A proactive approach to project delivery
