KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Health, Safety & Environment
- Ensure works are delivered in accordance with approved Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
- Promote a strong safety culture and carry out regular site inspections and audits.
- Support incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Ensure temporary works and environmental controls are properly planned and managed.
- Engineering & Construction
- Lead the engineering delivery of a defined section of works.
- Coordinate engineers, site teams and subcontractors.
- Review drawings, specifications and construction information.
- Resolve technical and construction issues with the project and design teams.
- Ensure effective setting out, surveying and engineering control.
- Monitor progress and identify risks, constraints and required actions.
- Heavy Civils
- Experience in one or more of the following:
- Earthworks and groundworks
- Reinforced concrete and structures
- Foundations and retaining structures
- Roads, pavements and hardstandings
- Temporary works
- Infrastructure and enabling works
- Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications and quality requirements.
- Manage inspections, testing, NCRs and handover documentation.
- Identify and resolve quality issues.
