An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior/Project Engineer to join a major infrastructure project in Bournemouth. Working closely with the Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering complex water and wastewater projects from design through to construction and handover.
This is a hands-on role for an engineer who enjoys driving projects forward, coordinating design and procurement activities, managing subcontractors, and ensuring safe, high-quality project delivery.
What You’ll Be Doing- Supporting delivery of major engineering projects from start to finish
- Coordinating design, procurement and construction activities
- Managing project costs, forecasts and contract administration
- Working closely with clients, suppliers and site teams
- Monitoring subcontractor performance and project progress
- Ensuring solutions are safe, efficient and delivered on programme
- HNC or higher in an Engineering discipline
- Experience within water, wastewater or infrastructure projects
- Strong NEC contract knowledge
- Understanding of CDM and Health & Safety requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, collaborative and solutions-focused approach
