I am looking for a Bid writer with a good construction background, to work within a contractor for infrastructure works on projects across the UK

Role

You will have previous experience working in a similar role within the construction environment. This role would suit an existing business development /bid led technical expert.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop relationships between clients and other organisations within the civils industry.
  • Network effectively across the business in multiple areas of industry.
  • Work toward bid, tender and invite dates.
  • Manage the bid process from start to finish
  • Work with the engineering and senior team to attempt to win works across the UK

Essential requirements:

  • Have worked in a sales led business development . bid writer role previously .
  • Have five years relevant experience.
  • Will need to have current or past engineering understanding

Desirable:

  • Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have a degree in a relevant discipline such as Civil Engineering.
