I am looking for a Bid writer with a good construction background, to work within a contractor for infrastructure works on projects across the UK
Role
You will have previous experience working in a similar role within the construction environment. This role would suit an existing business development /bid led technical expert.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop relationships between clients and other organisations within the civils industry.
- Network effectively across the business in multiple areas of industry.
- Work toward bid, tender and invite dates.
- Manage the bid process from start to finish
- Work with the engineering and senior team to attempt to win works across the UK
Essential requirements:
- Have worked in a sales led business development . bid writer role previously .
- Have five years relevant experience.
- Will need to have current or past engineering understanding
Desirable:
- Although not essential it would also be advantageous if you have a degree in a relevant discipline such as Civil Engineering.
