We are currently seeking an experienced Rail E&P Project Manager to join a well-established rail infrastructure organisation based in York. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of major rail signalling and systems projects across the UK within a fast-paced, safety-critical environment. The successful applicant will oversee projects throughout the full project lifecycle, ensuring all works are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget. You will work collaboratively with clients, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams covering design, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead rail Power projects from initial planning through to final completion
  • Track project schedules, budgets, resources, and associated risks
  • Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Ensure all activities comply with Network Rail standards and wider rail industry regulations
  • Prepare and deliver regular project progress reports and updates
  • Assist with planning, commercial, and operational project requirements

Requirements

  • Previous experience managing rail signalling projects within the UK rail sector
  • Strong knowledge of E&P systems, project delivery processes, and rail safety standards
  • Lineside Power Experience
  • Experience working alongside Network Rail and principal contractors
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational abilities
