Project Overview: We are seeking experienced LV Cable Installers / Electricians for work on a new build 132kV substation project in Berkeley, Gloucester. This is a dead working environment only as the site is not yet energised, therefore no special authorisations are required.
Duties:
- Installation of LV and multicore SWA cables
- Glanding and terminating SWA cables
- Testing and inspection of installed cables
- Installation of cable containment systems including:
- Tray
- Conduit
- Ladder rack
- Working safely within a substation construction environment
Requirements:
- ECS Card essential
- Previous experience with LV and SWA cable installation
- Experience working within industrial, utilities, energy, or substation environments preferred
- Ability to read and work from drawings
- Strong understanding of safe working practices
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, 1 hour lunch break
