The Opportunity

Advance TRS is partnering with a leading multidisciplinary design consultancy to recruit a Senior Chartered Landscape Architect to join their growing team in Belfast. The successful candidate will take on a Project Leader role, delivering landscape architecture projects across Ireland while collaborating closely with professionals in architecture, masterplanning, interior design and conservation. Working within a fully integrated design environment, you will contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects spanning multiple sectors and varying in scale and complexity.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Chartered Landscape Architect who enjoys leading projects, mentoring others and working as part of a collaborative, design-led practice. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the delivery of landscape architecture projects across a diverse portfolio from concept design through to construction and site completion.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality, programme and budget objectives are achieved.
  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary design teams, contributing to integrated design solutions.
  • Mentor and support junior colleagues, including assisting with professional development and chartership progression.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
  • Prepare technical documentation, specifications and presentations to a high standard.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in line with relevant health and safety legislation and industry standards.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Chartered Membership of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) or Irish Landscape Institute (ILI).
  • A degree or master's qualification in Landscape Architecture.
  • Significant post-chartership experience, including leading large-scale multidisciplinary projects.
  • Strong design capability with experience across all project stages, from concept through to construction and site delivery.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience mentoring and supporting developing landscape architects.
  • Strong technical knowledge, including specification writing and project delivery.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite; Revit experience would be advantageous.
  • Good understanding of BIM processes and collaborative digital design.
  • Knowledge of Irish planning processes and education sector projects would be beneficial.
