We are seeking a skilled professional with expertise in overseeing the design, execution, and commissioning of Building Services within the construction sector. This includes:

Collaborating with pre-construction teams to ensure client specifications are addressed, and proposals are aligned with contract requirements.

Ensuring that all building services needs are incorporated into the overall design and construction, with timely delivery of key information.

Assisting the Planning teams in embedding building services into the overall programme and delivery strategies.

Ensuring full compliance with building regulations, planning requirements, and any third-party certifications.

Overseeing the Design, Drawings, and approval stages to ensure alignment with project timelines.

Leading meetings focused on design, project progress, and commissioning.

Tracking project progress and supporting the project management team by ensuring specialist contractors are properly resourced and meet project expectations.

Working closely with quantity surveyors and commercial teams to evaluate contract changes and assess work valuations.

Establishing and maintaining quality control systems to ensure adherence to high standards and specifications.

Participating in client progress and technical meetings.

A well-established Building and Civil Engineering Contractor, operating across the UK, is looking to recruit an experienced Building Services Manager who is fully qualified in a Mechanical or Electrical Trade, and has experience working within a Consultancy, Main Contractor or Sub Contractor Management background., Candidates must hold at least one of the following or an equivalent qualification:

Degree in Building Services Engineering.

HNC/HND level in Electrical or Mechanical Building Services.

BTEC in Building Services Engineering or Operations and Maintenance Engineering.

Technical certification in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline, with a background in Consultancy, Main Contractor, or Subcontractor Management.
