Key responsibilities include
- Manage ECI, advanced and main works packages, including surveys, design, enabling and construction activities.
- Provide end-to-end project management against cost, programme, quality, safety and commercial objectives, with package values up to £35m.
- Lead coordination between client, contractor, designer and key stakeholders across complex rail and civils interfaces.
- Manage delivery within an NEC4 Target Cost Contract environment, including cost control, change, risk and forecasting.
- Support PACE, governance, procurement and assurance requirements.
- Manage access, possessions, logistics and construction sequencing within an operational railway environment.
- Support scope development, optioneering, value engineering and delivery strategies.
- Ensure compliance with Network Rail standards, CDM 2015, safety, quality and performance requirements.
- Manage project risks, opportunities, KPIs and project controls.
- Coordinate delivery across civils, concrete/RC structures, rail, public realm and urban realm disciplines.
- Work closely with Lead Portfolio Managers and wider project teams to ensure coordinated, safe and efficient delivery.
Location
Hybrid, with 3-4 days per week site-based in Oxford, plus meetings in Swindon as required.
