Advance TRS are currently partnering with a reputable engineering consultancy and are in search of a Chartered Senior Structural Engineer to join their building design team, working on a range of high-profile projects. The client is a market leader and a specialist within multidisciplinary design, delivering complex building solutions across sectors such as aviation, defence, public sector work, and power.

This role will involve leading structural design from concept through to delivery, while also taking on project responsibility and engaging with wider design teams. This is a contract position that would suit someone who is Chartered and can hit the ground running and take ownership of their projects.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Engineer (CEng, MICE or MIStructE)
  • Experience across aviation, defence, public sector, or power projects
  • Strong understanding of current civil and structural design codes and standards
  • Confident in their own designs and technically capable of carrying out independent checks
  • Awareness of project delivery, people management principles, and commercial project considerations
  • Experience delivering responsibilities under CDM and health and safety regulations
