£450-£500/day Inside IR35 or Up to £75k Permanent
Advance TRS are looking for an experienced Senior Project Engineer with a strong Civil Engineering background to join a major water sector delivery team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take a key role in delivering complex engineering projects, working closely with the Project Manager, design teams, site teams, supply chain and clients from design through to construction and commissioning.
The Role
- Manage and coordinate design, construction and commissioning activities
- Drive project programmes, milestones, risk and cost control
- Lead design liaison and collaborative planning meetings
- Coordinate site teams, designers and supply chain partners
- Support procurement, tendering and commercial management
- Identify opportunities for innovation, improved delivery and reduced risk
- Work closely with the Project Manager and QS to monitor project performance
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to specification
About You
- Strong Project Engineering / Project Management experience
- A Civil Engineering or construction-related degree/equivalent
- Experience delivering engineering projects under NEC3
- Strong understanding of CDM 2015 and H&S legislation
- Proven experience managing programmes, costs, risks and stakeholders
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Water sector experience is desirable, particularly non-infrastructure
- P6, APMP or Chartered/near Chartered status would be advantageous
