Advance TRS are looking for an experienced Project Design Lead to provide engineering leadership and design support across major water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
The Role
- Lead design development for membrane process water treatment works, pumping stations, pipelines, shafts, deep pressure tanks and associated infrastructure.
- Coordinate with Senior Project Design Leads to monitor progress, risks, resources, budgets and programme.
- Support technical teams to resolve design and delivery issues.
- Review and develop design and contract specifications for major water and wastewater projects.
- Identify risks and potential programme delays, escalating where required.
- Support the team through DCO pre-examination and examination periods.
About You
- Degree-qualified in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- 10+ years’ experience in the water/wastewater sector.
- APM/Project Management qualification desirable.
- Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership.
- Strong experience with planning, design development and technical specifications.
- Excellent communication, coordination and report-writing skills.
- Experience with DCO, Transport & Works Act Order or hybrid parliamentary bill documentation desirable.
