We’re working with a well-established and growing Building Services consultancy based in London that’s looking to hire an Intermediate Electrical Design Engineer to join their close-knit team.

About the Role: You’ll be working on a variety of exciting projects across the commercial, residential, education, and mixed‑use sectors. The role will see you involved throughout the full project lifecycle, from concept design through to detailed delivery.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and specification of electrical systems including lighting, power, fire alarms, and data
  • Produce detailed designs using AutoCAD and other relevant tools
  • Work closely with mechanical, architectural, and structural teams
  • Attend client meetings and support project delivery on time and within budget
  • Ensure compliance with UK building regulations and industry standards

What We’re Looking For:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in electrical building services design
  • Strong knowledge of UK standards and regulations
  • Proficiency in relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Dialux/Relux, Amtech)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering
  • Right to work in the UK is essential
