Our client is seeking Environmental Water Quality Consultants and Senior Consultants with marine and coastal modelling experience to join a growing multidisciplinary team delivering high-impact projects across the UK and Ireland. This role focuses on the assessment and modelling of water quality in estuarine, coastal and marine environments, supporting sustainable water and wastewater solutions. You will work within an integrated team addressing increasingly stringent water quality standards and complex environmental challenges across interconnected systems.

Key Responsibilities- Delivery of technically robust marine and coastal water quality models
- Assessment of pollution sources, pathways and receptors in estuarine, coastal and marine systems
- Preparation and technical review of evidence-based reports in line with quality assurance standards
- Provision of specialist technical input to multidisciplinary projects and programmes
- Collaboration with clients and stakeholders across the water, energy and infrastructure sectors
- Contribution to service development and client relationship growth
- Mentoring and support of junior staff
- Degree qualified in science, mathematics or engineering
- Postgraduate qualification and/or relevant experience within the water industry
- Working towards or already chartered with a relevant professional institution
- Experience using marine or coastal water quality modelling software (e.g. MIKE, Delft3D, Telemac, AEM3D)
- Demonstrable modelling experience in estuarine, marine or coastal systems
- Understanding of physico-chemical water quality and associated freshwater and marine regulatory standards
- Basic coding capability in Python, R or similar
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders
