About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced Civil Engineer to join their Civils team on essential water infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in delivering safe, clean drinking water from project inception through to completion. Working within a supportive team, you’ll have the opportunity to shape your own technical deliverables and make a tangible impact on communities in the South East.

Key Responsibilities
- Review and check project scopes to ensure outcomes are achieved
- Provide technical solutions and support on capital projects, producing design drawings, CDM documents, and job specification packs
- Check colleagues’ work for technical quality
- Mentor Graduate Civil Engineers and apprentices, supporting their development
- Liaise with internal and external teams to secure project approvals
- Visit sites to carry out audits and provide guidance to contractors
What Our Client is Looking For
- HNC, HND, or degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
- Experience in a Civil Engineer role with ability to manage your own deliverables
- Strong understanding of industry standards and specifications
- Knowledge and practical application of CDM 2015
- Experience in design, construction, or maintenance of infrastructure and non-infrastructure assets
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
- Right to work in the UK without restrictions
