We are supporting a key infrastructure project at Banniskirk Substation (Thurso, Highlands, Scotland) and are seeking a Lead Environmental Clerk of Works (EnviroCoW) to play a critical role in ensuring environmental compliance and best practice on site.
Role Overview
You will act as the on-site environmental lead, ensuring all works are delivered in line with environmental legislation, planning conditions, and company procedures. This is a hands-on role requiring strong site presence, technical knowledge, and the ability to influence project teams.
Key Requirements
- CIEEM Full Member (or equivalent) – essential
- Named Lead EnviroCoW experience
- Relevant protected species survey licences (e.g. bats, GCN, badger)
- Strong background in infrastructure, utilities, or construction projects
