This is a fantastic chance to work on major UK energy and infrastructure projects, including Sizewell C and electricity substations across the UK, from start to finish.

As a key member of the team, you’ll play a vital role in delivering frameworks for Sizewell, DNOs, and other high-profile clients, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards. From feasibility studies and budget estimates to tender production, post-contract valuations, and final accounts, you’ll be involved at every stage of the process.

This role offers hybrid working based out of any of my client’s UK offices and will require site visits across the country from time to time.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Undertake feasibility studies and prepare budget estimates for civil projects.
  • Produce full tender documentation, including Bills of Quantities using SMM7, Vector, and NBS software.
  • Carry out post-contract duties such as monthly valuations, financial reporting, and agreement of final accounts.
  • Ensure all work meets my client’s standards, policies, and customer requirements.
  • Keep up to date with industry best practices and maintain professional CPD requirements.

What We’re Looking For

  • A Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying.
  • Experience providing pre- and post-contract QS services in construction, ideally using NEC3/4 and JCT contracts.
  • Skills in producing SMM7/NRM Bills of Quantities and tender documentation.
  • A valid UK driving licence.
  • (Desirable) Knowledge of Vector and NBS Chorus software, experience on substation projects up to 132kV, or MRICS qualification.

Why Join My Client?

  • Competitive salary
  • Car or car allowance
  • Pension with up to 8% employer contribution
  • Personal wellbeing and volunteer days
  • Private medical insurance
  • 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme (including counselling and legal advice)
  • Flexible benefits such as dental insurance, gym membership, cycle-to-work scheme, and more
