Job title: Town Planner

Rate: Dependant on experience

Role:

The successful candidate will play a critical role in project management of residential led/mixed use development projects.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Manage a portfolio of projects for the timely delivery of high quality, large scale and/or complex development through the planning system.
• Commission and oversee capital works contracts, supported by technical colleagues, required to de-risk sites.
• Drafting and presenting high quality approval papers to obtain committee and board approval.
• Engage with the wider resource and skills colleagues and other relevant partner agencies and stakeholders.

Essential requirements:

• Qualified to degree level or suitable professional qualification/membership of relevant professional body
• Extensive experience at a senior level in a relevant sector
• Experience of risk mitigation strategies.
