This is a highly visible strategic finance leadership role combining executive reporting, investor communication, performance storytelling, and strategic insight. This role would suit an individual who combines strong financial and commercial acumen with exceptional communication and presentation capability, someone equally comfortable operating within the detail while also crafting high-quality Board and investor materials that influence decision-making and support valuation.

Investor Narrative & Strategic Communication

  • Own and continuously evolve the company’s equity and performance narrative aligned to growth, profitability, and strategic priorities.
  • Translate complex SaaS and commercial performance metrics into clear, concise, executive-level communication.
  • Support the CFO and CEO in investor, lender, and shareholder engagement activities.
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all executive and external reporting materials.

Executive, Board & Investor Reporting

  • Lead the preparation of high-quality Board reports, investor packs, lender updates, and Executive Committee materials.
  • Own quarterly forecasting and reforecasting outputs alongside strategic planning cycles.
  • Develop insightful KPI dashboards and performance reporting aligned to investor expectations.
  • Drive reporting quality, clarity, and consistency across the organisation.

Strategic Finance & Business Partnership

  • Partner closely with Finance, Commercial, and Strategy teams to synthesise performance insights and support decision‑making.
  • Support long‑range planning, value creation initiatives, and strategic priorities.
  • Benchmark business performance against SaaS peers and market expectations.
  • Act as a strategic extension of the CFO office.

What You Will Have

We are looking for a commercially sharp and highly polished strategic finance professional with experience operating in high‑growth, performance‑driven environments. You are likely to bring experience from:

  • PE‑backed SaaS or technology businesses.
  • Strategic Finance / FP&A leadership.
  • Investor Relations.
  • Corporate Finance.
  • Consulting or value‑creation environments.
  • Listed or investor‑facing organisations with exposure to quarterly reporting cycles.

You will also bring:

  • Strong understanding of SaaS metrics including ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV and margin performance.
  • Experience producing Board‑level, investor, or executive reporting materials.
  • Excellent financial modelling and analytical capability.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Executive presence and confidence working with senior stakeholders.
  • The ability to translate complex data into clear, commercially meaningful insight.

Additional Information

This is a hybrid role with an expectation of regular presence in the Birmingham office. Candidates should be comfortable travelling to Birmingham with additional travel occasionally required in line with business and stakeholder needs.
