We are currently recruiting experienced and reliable Class 1 (HGV CE) Drivers to join our growing transport team based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for regular work, competitive pay, and flexible shift patterns. We have a variety of driving assignments available, including general haulage, RDC deliveries, trunking, curtain sider, box trailer, refrigerated, and container work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate Class 1 (HGV CE) vehicles.
  • Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects.
  • Deliver and collect goods efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Complete delivery paperwork and use electronic POD systems where required.
  • Ensure loads are secured correctly and transported safely.
  • Comply with all DVSA regulations, driver hours, Working Time Directive, and company procedures.

Requirements

  • Valid UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence.
  • Valid Driver CPC qualification.
  • Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Good understanding of driver hours and transport legislation.
  • A professional, reliable, and flexible attitude.
  • Previous Class 1 driving experience is preferred but not essential for all roles.
