A well-established logistics and distribution company based in Birmingham is seeking reliable and professional Class 2 (Category C) Drivers to join its growing transport team. The company provides nationwide delivery services and prides itself on excellent customer service, safety, and employee development.
As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to commercial and retail customers throughout the Midlands and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating Class 2 (Category C) vehicles safely and professionally
- Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Carrying out multi-drop deliveries and collections
- Ensuring all paperwork and delivery documentation is completed accurately
- Maintaining compliance with Driver Hours, Working Time Directive, and company policies
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
Requirements:Essential:
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Minimum 2 years' experience holding a Class 2 licence
- Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Good knowledge of UK driving regulations
- No more than 6 penalty points (no DR, DD or IN endorsements)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Desirable:
- Multi-drop delivery experience
- Experience using handheld delivery devices/PDA systems
