Support the team. Drive sales. Help the branch succeed. Advance Roofing Supplies is looking for a sales-focused Assistant Branch Manager to join our branch in Aylesbury. This is a great opportunity for someone with roofing merchant experience who enjoys building relationships with contractors, driving sales, and supporting the day-to-day running of a busy branch. You will work closely with the Branch Manager and a small, close-knit team to deliver excellent service and help grow the business.
The Role Responsibilities
- Leading from the front on the sales counter, supporting customers and driving sales
- Building strong relationships with local roofing contractors and trade customers
- Supporting the Branch Manager with the day-to-day running of the branch
- Helping the team deliver excellent service, quotes, and order processing
- Supporting stock management, branch standards, and health & safety
You will be part of a small, supportive team where everyone works together to deliver great service and keep the branch performing strongly.
About You
We are looking for someone who is sales-focused, practical, and confident working in a busy trade counter environment. You will need:
- Previous roofing merchant or roofing product sales experience
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, sales-driven approach
- The ability to support and motivate a small team
- Good organisation and attention to detail
7am-5pm Mon-Fri, 8am-12pm alternate Saturdays
22 days' holiday + bank holidays
