Advance is a national housing and support provider. This role is an Asset Manager in the Housing team, supporting planned investment, cyclical works and major repairs programmes, ensuring homes remain safe and well‑maintained.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the delivery of cyclical works, planned investment programmes and major repairs
  • Take a key project coordination role to ensure works meet statutory, regulatory and quality standards
  • Maintain and update asset management systems, ensuring stock condition data is accurate and up to date
  • Support stock condition surveys and lifecycle planning activities
  • Monitor contractor and consultant performance, ensuring works are delivered on time and to budget
  • Communicate planned works effectively to customers, colleagues and stakeholders
  • Coordinate aids and adaptations, ensuring systems reflect all changes
  • Assist with contract management, performance monitoring and continuous improvement
  • Provide reports and data to support asset planning and decision‑making
  • Support the management of insurance claims and follow through remedial actions
  • Work closely with Finance colleagues on budgets, invoices and financial processes
  • Promote customer involvement and ensure services meet the needs of our diverse customer base

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience within social housing, property services, repairs or asset management
  • Understanding of housing, compliance and regulatory frameworks (or willingness to learn)
  • Experience of coordinating works, managing contractors or supporting projects
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • Good IT skills, including experience using systems for data, reporting or project tracking
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and customers
  • A proactive, solution‑focused approach with a commitment to continuous improvement
  • An understanding of, or experience working with, vulnerable customers including those with mental health conditions or disabilities
