Position: Waking Night Support Worker Specialist

Location: Brockhurst, Hampshire

Hours: 36 contracted hours per week (Mon-Sun, 4 nights a week, including every other weekend, and holidays)

Salary: £28,976.86 per annum (15.44 p/h)

About the Role

Advance are looking for a Waking Night Support Worker Specialist in Brockhurst to support customers with learning disabilities, autism, complex needs and mental health conditions to live the lives they choose. Waking Night Activities

  • Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required)
  • Ensuring the premises are secure and safe during the night
  • Supporting with meal times and food preparation (if required)
  • Medication administration (if required)
  • Support with independent skills
  • Keeping accurate records and updating care plans as required
  • Keeping up to date with your training
  • Supporting with regular checks on the customer to ensure their safety
  • Supporting with domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry

About the Candidate

  • Good at working on your own and within a team
  • Excellent at communicating with people
  • Able to complete quality support records
  • Able to work every other weekend
  • Ability to follow a Support Plan and Risk Assessments and maintain customer records
  • Need to be literate and numerate in English
  • Willingness and ability to achieve the Care Certificate
