Location: South and Southwest (Cornwall, Dorset/ Bournemouth, Poole, and Christchurch/ and Hampshire) - Hybrid working

Hours: 37.5 contracted hours per week

Salary: £27,999.21 per annum

About the Role:

At Advance, we put the people who draw on our support at the heart of everything we do. We’re looking for a proactive and organised Regional Assistant to provide high‑quality administrative and operational support to our regional management team. You’ll be a key point of contact for colleagues, customers and external stakeholders, helping managers deliver outstanding support across the region. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, ideal for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, staying organised and making things happen.

About you:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and personal assistant support to the Head of Operations and regional management team.
  • Act as a first point of contact for customers, colleagues, families and external stakeholders, signposting queries appropriately.
  • Support recruitment activity including posting vacancies, arranging interviews, updating systems and supporting pre‑employment checks.
  • Coordinate meetings, diaries and regional events, including minute‑taking and following up actions.
  • Maintain accurate records, databases and filing systems, ensuring data protection and confidentiality at all times.
  • Support managers with reporting, contract returns and meeting deadlines.
  • Work closely with HR, Finance, Quality, Business Development and other regional teams to support effective service delivery.
  • Share positive stories and achievements from the region to help promote the work Advance does.

To be successful in this role you must have:

  • Experience providing administrative support in a busy, fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and confidence using databases and systems.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
  • Understanding of confidentiality, data protection and information security.
  • An enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
