Job Description

What you’ll do: We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Complex Care Assistant to support a young client in his family home, working closely with his mum and dad to provide high-quality, person-centred care. The client has complex healthcare needs, including epilepsy requiring seizure management, gastrostomy tube feeding, and partial hearing and visual impairments. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is patient, attentive, and committed to making a positive difference in a child’s life. The role involves providing overnight support, including gastrostomy feeding, seizure monitoring and management, and carrying out regular observations throughout the night to ensure the client’s safety and wellbeing. Strong communication skills, a caring nature, and previous experience supporting children with complex needs are essential for this position.
