Job Description
What you’ll do:
- Support a young child who is fully dependent for all aspects of their care 24/7.
- Care needs consist of:
- Repositioning, mobility requirements and manual handling
- Dual Jejunostomy and Gastrostomy Button for feeding and administering medication
- Monitoring of skin and tissue viability
- Complex Epilepsy and Dystonia, requiring rescue medication
- Oxygen, suctioning and saturation monitoring
- Respiratory requirements, interventions of bag and mask, oxygen and stimulation (multiple times per day)
- Physiotherapy programme
Qualifications
What you’ll need:
- Experience caring for children with complex requirements in a home care setting.
- Experience in respiratory management would be beneficial.
