Location Various UK Project Sites (travel and working away from home may be required) Employment Type Full-Time About AGS Advance Grid Solutions (AGS) delivers utility-scale renewable energy projects including solar farms, BESS installations, substations and associated civil and electrical works across the UK. Role Purpose The Labourer will support civil, electrical and construction teams in the delivery of renewable energy and infrastructure projects. Applicants must hold a valid Forklift Truck licence and Excavator/Digger ticket. Key Responsibilities * General labouring duties. * Operate forklifts safely. * Operate excavators/diggers within competency and authorisation. * Assist excavation, trenching and reinstatement works. * Support cable installation, ducting, drainage and groundwork activities. * Maintain housekeeping standards. * Follow RAMS and report hazards. Working Environment * Solar farm construction projects. * Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) sites. * Electrical infrastructure and substations. * Outdoor working in all weather conditions. * Live construction environments with heavy plant and machinery. * Travel throughout the UK and overnight stays may be required. Essential Requirements * Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence/certification. * Valid Excavator/Digger operator ticket (CPCS, NPORS or equivalent). * CSCS Labourer Card. * Full UK Driving Licence. * Previous construction or infrastructure experience. Health, Safety & Environmental Responsibilities * Comply with AGS HSEQ procedures. * Wear required PPE. * Follow Risk Assessments and Method Statements. * Report unsafe conditions immediately
