Advance Grid Solutions is expanding its engineering design team and we’re looking for a Civil CAD Technician to support delivery across BESS, substation and energy infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- General arrangements & site layouts
- Concrete, RC & steelwork drawings
- Working from mark‑ups and survey data to produce buildable drawings
- Support temporary works (haul roads, working platforms, access) and opportunities for site visits
Preferred Qualifications
- 2–6 years’ experience in a civil / CAD role
- Strong AutoCAD skills (Civil 3D beneficial)
- BIM knowledge (advantageous)
- Experience across infrastructure, energy or civil projects
- Ability to turn sketches and mark‑ups into accurate drawings
- Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment
Working Environment
You’ll be working within a close‑knit team alongside a Chartered Civil Engineer and other design professionals, gaining exposure to a wide range of renewable energy projects.

Scotland (with site visits as required)
