Wind Turbine Technician – UK
Location: Field-based – with UK-wide travel
Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 (depending on experience)

We\’re partnering with a leading renewable energy services company that is expanding its operations team and currently seeking an experienced Wind Turbine Technician to support its growing UK portfolio – with a particular focus on small to mid-scale turbines such as the Vestas V27 and similar platforms (225kW-850kW range).
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a team committed to delivering high-quality service, turbine uptime, and the UK\’s clean energy transition.
The Role:
You\’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing wind turbines across the UK, with a strong presence in the South East. The role involves extensive travel and regular work in remote areas – ideal for a hands-on technician with strong problem-solving skills and turbine-specific experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct planned and reactive maintenance on wind turbines

Specialise in smaller platforms, particularly the Vestas V27

Fault-finding on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

Work on refurbishment, component upgrades, and inspections

Provide clear, accurate reporting and follow HSE protocols

Travel across the UK with overnight stays as required
About You:

Technically qualified (electrical, mechanical, or renewables)

Hands-on experience with Vestas V27 or similar turbine types

Comfortable working at height and in remote conditions

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities

GWO certification desirable (Working at Height, First Aid, etc.)
