As an ERP Implementation Project Manager, you will be responsible for the below:
- Project Management: Leading and managing the entire ERP implementation project from initiation to completion. Developing project plans, timelines, and budgets. Monitoring project progress and ensuring adherence to deadlines and milestones. Identifying and mitigating project risks and issues.
- Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Collaborating with stakeholders across various departments to gather and document business requirements. Analysing business processes and translating them into ERP system configurations. Ensuring that the ERP system aligns with organizational goals and processes.
- System Configuration and Customization: Overseeing the configuration and customization of the ERP system to meet specific business needs. Working with technical teams to ensure proper system setup and integration.
- Data Migration and Management: Planning and managing the migration of data from legacy systems to the new ERP system. Ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout the migration process.
- Training and Support: Developing and delivering training programs for end-users. Providing ongoing support and troubleshooting assistance during and after implementation.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintaining clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, including senior management, department heads, and end-users. Providing regular project updates and reports.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Overseeing the testing phases of the ERP implementation. Ensuring high quality of the implemented ERP system.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in managing complex projects, preferably ERP/system implementations.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Experience with specific ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) is highly desirable.
- Ability to analyse business processes and translate them into system requirements.
- Strong understanding of business operations and workflows.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
- Understanding of database management, and system integration.
