About the Role
We are seeking a driven and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in the Construction Site Security sector. This role is focused on generating new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and expanding our security services across key industries such as construction, commercial, retail, logistics, and critical infrastructure.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, promoting our security solutions, and positioning our company as a trusted partner in safeguarding people, property, and assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and secure new business opportunities within the site security industry.
- Develop and implement strategies to grow revenue across manned guarding, mobile patrols, CCTV monitoring, and integrated security solutions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a deep understanding of client needs.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and tenders.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with company objectives.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging security risks.
- Collaborate with operations and service delivery teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and contract performance.
- Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets and KPIs.
- Represent the business at networking events, exhibitions, and industry forums.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management, Construction Industry is a must
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to develop strong client relationships at all levels.
- Commercial awareness and strategic thinking.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
- Knowledge of tendering and bid management processes.
- Full UK driving licence.
