About the role

We are a community‑based organisation that leads in best practice approaches to supporting women in their local community. We are available to meet and support women in local settings and at our women’s centres, and we work in close partnership with other agencies. Our values are to listen and support, to empower and respect, collaborate, innovate, and take accountability.
As a Community Keyworker you will work with women involved in the criminal justice system – including those on probation in the community and those released from prison as part of post‑sentence supervision. You will run some in‑reach and ‘Through the Gate’ support, and you will work as part of a team of keyworkers in your region, providing holistic one‑to‑one community support to women with diverse needs.
Responsibilities
- Build excellent relationships with women and a diverse range of delivery partners to ensure they meet their potential and progress through and beyond probation supervision.
- Meet women wherever they are on their journey and work with them to create an individualised support package that gives them the best chance of breaking the cycle of offending.
Qualifications and Skills
- Holds a UK driving licence and has access to a car for work purposes.
- Is a creative self‑starter who supports the service and looks for innovative solutions to assist clients with complex needs.
- Is a confident professional relationship builder with good awareness of safeguarding procedures.
- Has strong administration skills and an understanding of compliant behaviour.
- Has good knowledge of the criminal justice system and awareness of other support provisions within the Hampshire area.
