Professional level sales position capable of supporting advanced functions on the commercial side of the business. Responsible for profitable growth of the commercial business through customer retention and growth. Partners with the GM to manage team members. Requires expert knowledge of automotive systems and parts, the ability to source from various channels (special order, FDO, second source, etc.), and the capability to direct drivers to ensure timely and accurate delivery. Full‐time position.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain commercial customer relationships
- Provide GAS2 selling experience to commercial customers
- Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives
- Provide day‐to‐day supervisory support for team members
- Collaborate with the GM on coaching and developmental needs for team members
- Dispatch drivers to ensure delivery standards are achieved
- Maintain commercial stocking programs
- Build and maintain a network of second‐source suppliers
Secondary Responsibilities
- Maintain core bank and commercial returns
- Maintain commercial credit accounts
- Partner with the GM to ensure proper driver coverage

Prior Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of automotive parts experience (preferred).
- Proven sales ability in fulfillment of customer transactions.
- Formal or informal experience leading teams, supervising daily tasks, and achieving goals.
Education
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- ASE certification preferred, but not required.
Physical Demands
Work predominantly involves walking or standing. Acts of talking, hearing, hand and finger use, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling are required. Frequently lifts/moves up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, depth perception, and adjustment of focus.
Work Environment
Typically performed indoors; occasionally outdoors and exposed to weather conditions while performing tasks such as installing batteries and wiper blades. May be exposed to moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, electrical shock, explosives, and vibration. Noise level is usually moderate.
Position is eligible for sales commission based on individual or store performance.
