A really exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Legal Services Section, providing a joint legal service to Adur District Council and Worthing Borough Council. Do you have experience of working in a busy legal practice carrying out any of the following areas of legal work:
- Civil or Criminal Litigation
- Property Law
We are looking for a Legal Officer or Senior Legal Officer to join our friendly and inclusive team. We deliver legal work to an excellent standard and there is never a dull day. Our team deals with a wide variety of areas including employment, housing, criminal and civil litigation, planning and licensing. There are opportunities within this role to develop skills and enhance your knowledge.
Researching and analyzing legislation, advising on its interpretation and providing innovative, proactive and pragmatic advice to Officers and Members of both Councils. We are looking for a positive, driven and innovative professional with excellent analytical and research skills, who is a good team player, self‑motivated and has the ability to give clear, accurate and practical legal advice.
