The Business Support Team is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented person to join our team. You will play a crucial role in supporting our daily operations and contributing to a positive, efficient work environment. The work is varied and includes:
- Managing correspondence from contractors, customers and residents
- Providing information and updates over the phone
- Updating and maintaining databases, records, and client files
- Assisting with sales/purchase invoicing
- Maintaining office supplies
- Efficient running of the corporate post room
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate excellent organisational and administrative skills, with meticulous attention to detail and be adaptable to the changing needs of the team. Experience of working in a busy administrative environment and the ability to communicate confidently with customers and colleagues is preferable. It is essential that you can demonstrate numeracy, literacy and excellent IT skills.
Whilst we offer hybrid working after the first six months, the preference is for the successful candidate to work full time from the Town Hall.
