Responsibilities

  • Provide a first‑class service to customers, ensuring they supply supporting documents for Housing Benefit and Council Tax Support claims, and contact customers by telephone or in writing to obtain further information where needed.

Qualifications

  • Numerate, literate and good IT skills.
  • Preferable experience in a busy benefits or customer service environment, as part of a team.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and communicate confidently with customers and colleagues.
  • Previous experience of administering Housing Benefit or Council Tax Support claims is advantageous; full training will be provided.
  • The successful candidate will be subject to a Basic DBS clearance and three years employment referencing.
