Job Summary: Are you passionate about bringing outdoor spaces to life? Adur & Worthing Councils are looking for a proactive and organised Events Coordinator to help manage our vibrant calendar of events and markets.
Responsibilities: As the Events Coordinator, you will provide vital administrative and occasional on-site support to the Events Manager. Working on a diverse programme of outdoor events and markets across Adur and Worthing, tasks include:
- Processing initial applications
- Coordinating permissions
- Handling financial administration such as invoicing and raising purchase orders using the Council’s finance software
Acting as a key liaison between council departments and external partners, you may be required to work flexibly, attending events in person to ensure successful delivery.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will be subject to a Standard DBS clearance.
