Responsibilities
- Litter picking, sweeping shop fronts, emptying litter bins, and collecting fly tipping around the area.
- Collecting bulky items from householders and delivering and collecting trade & domestic bins to customers throughout Adur & Worthing district.
- Replacing, fixing, and repairing litter bins.
- Taking total responsibility for the vehicle, including daily checks before driving on the highway.
- Ensuring all safe working practices are complied with under the health and safety code of practice.
- Completing and returning all relevant paperwork and ensuring sites are left clean, tidy, and safe.
- Ensuring that the vehicle is taken to the designated disposal point and emptied at the end of each working day.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and healthy.
- License to drive a 7.5t vehicle with no more than 3 penalty points.
- Current Certificate in Professional Competence (CPC).
