We are currently recruiting for a physically fit Cleansing Driver Operative to join our friendly team to work in Adur and Worthing. The role involves:
- Domestic and commercial food waste collections
- Litter picking
- Sweeping shop fronts
- Emptying litter bins
- Collecting bulky items from householders
- Collecting fly tip around the area
- Replacing, fixing and repairing litter bins
- Delivery and collection of trade & domestic bins to customers throughout the Adur and Worthing district
The post holder will take total responsibility for the vehicle, which includes daily checks before driving onto the highway. All safe working practices must be complied with under the health and safety code of practice. The post holder is responsible for ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed and returned to the office, and that all sites are left in a clean, tidy and safe condition. At the end of each working day, the vehicle is taken to the designated disposal point and emptied.
