We are seeking an experienced professional to join the Bereavement Services Team as a Chapel Attendant. In this role, you will carry out a range of duties, including developing relationships with key stakeholders and the bereaved, acting as the first point of contact for the funeral cortege, overseeing services and many more.

Responsibilities
You may be required to work at any of our sites across both Councils, so a driving licence and access to a car is essential. This role involves some manual handling and due to the nature of the work, being exposed to the elements is to be expected and a uniform and PPE will be provided. This position is a Monday to Saturday role and your working hours will be rota based over 5 days. You will also be required to open and close the crematorium on a rota basis with another member of staff.
