Key Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice across a wide range of areas including employment, housing, criminal and civil litigation, planning and licensing.
- Research and analyse legislation and case law, advise on its interpretation, and develop innovative, proactive and pragmatic legal advice for Officers and Members of both Councils.
- Support the delivery of high‑quality legal work as part of a friendly and inclusive team.
Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor, barrister or legal executive with experience in debt collection, civil or criminal litigation, planning law, employment law or property law.
- Excellent analytical, research and communication skills.
- Self‑motivated team player with the ability to give clear, accurate and practical legal advice.
