We have a fantastic opportunity for a full time RVN to join our busy and popular truly Independent Small Animal Practice in Lancing on the South Coast. We are looking for a motivated, friendly and experienced RVN to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care, putting their knowledge and skills to the fore to provide first class nursing care, with a willingness to go the extra mile when needed, while working as part of a dedicated team.

We are a busy 3 vet, 3 nurse practice. We have been established for 8 years and have a loyal and growing client base. We strive to provide excellent patient and client care with an emphasis on communication and a continued client bond to the practice. We enjoy the benefits of a well-equipped, purpose-built practice, with separate dog and cat wards and waiting areas, digital and dental x-ray, multi parameter monitoring, ultrasound and dedicated nurse consulting room.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to a varied and interesting caseload. We take a special interest in rabbits, ferrets and wildlife care and in addition enjoy regular visits from imaging, cardiology, endoscopic, orthopaedic and dermatology specialists. We will support you to pursue particular interests, to enhance the level of care we provide and promote your skills and job satisfaction.

The role will involve theatre duties, day patient care, nurse clinics, lab work, and occasional reception duties. We are looking for an RVN with at least 3 years’ experience, a good team player, adaptable and hardworking with a friendly personality and positive outlook.

  • Salary £29,000 - 32,000 (DOE)
  • 38h/week (5 days a week, early shift starting at 8am, late shift finishing at 7pm)
  • 1 in 4 Saturday mornings – reception duties
  • No OOH
  • 20 days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays
