Wiltshire Council is seeking an experienced Brokerage Officer to support the efficient sourcing of care and support services in line with identified customer outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Sourcing appropriate care packages to meet assessed needs
- Ensuring best value for money and effective use of resources
- Working closely with social care teams, commissioners, and providers
- Following agreed brokerage and procurement processes
- Managing a fast-paced workload and meeting timescales
- Challenging and influencing where needed to support effective commissioning
Requirements
- NVQ/NC Level 4 (or equivalent experience)
- Strong experience in brokerage, commissioning, or social care sourcing
- Excellent ICT skills (Microsoft & specialist systems)
- Strong analytical, organisational, and decision‑making skills
- Experience with budget monitoring and financial processes
