Bradford Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Social Worker to join our crucial CE Hub Front Door Team. This fast-paced role requires a dedicated professional with excellent assessment and decision-making skills.

About the Role:

Respond to and assess referrals concerning children and families, identifying immediate needs and risks.
Conduct initial assessments, determining the appropriate level of intervention and support.
Work collaboratively with other agencies to coordinate responses and ensure children’s safety and well-being.
Manage a complex caseload, prioritizing urgent cases and adhering to statutory timescales.
Provide supervision and mentorship to junior social workers, promoting best practice and professional development.
Contribute to a supportive team environment focused on continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Registered with Social Care England.
Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience as a qualified Social Worker. Significant experience in a front-door or early intervention role within children’s services is highly desirable.
Excellent communication, assessment, and decision-making skills. Experience working with children at risk of significant harm is essential.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to child-centered practice and safeguarding.
