As a Child Support Worker, you will provide high-quality care to vulnerable young people, supporting their independence and well-being. This role involves working as part of a team, providing 24-hour care, and ensuring the safety and development of the young people in your care.

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with vulnerable young people in a residential setting (minimum 6 months in the UK).
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Must hold a full driving license and be registered or willing to register under the PVG scheme.

Qualification/Education

SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent, desirable.

Experience

Minimum 6 months’ experience in a UK residential setting supporting young people.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience supporting young people with early trauma and emotional behavioural difficulties.
