Responsibilities
- Safeguard the financial processes associated with people being supported by Voyage Care.
- Plan and complete financial assurance visits at services / homes.
- Identify inadequate, inefficient, or ineffective internal controls and recommend and implement improvements with respect to People we Support’s monies, petty cash, purchasing/prepaid cards and other local finance practices.
- Undertake and report financial investigations into irregularities and concerns identified or suspected at homes and services.
Personal Finance Audit Manager (Care Services) Duties:
- Plan and undertake financial assurance work by identifying risky areas.
- Respond to requests from Operations and / Quality teams.
- Undertake random visits to homes and services.
- Assess compliance with Voyage home / service financial policies and procedures by executing reviews and testing petty cash controls, People we Support finance controls.
