Typical shifts are: 7am‑2pm, 2pm‑10pm & long days 7am‑7pm – including sleep‑ins when required and weekends on a rota.

We’re on the hunt for genuinely caring, hands‑on Support Workers with a passion for enhancing the quality of life of the people we support. As a support worker with us you’ll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people! Our residential service in Fareham is a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same!

You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema. This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone’s life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals – whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to residents, helping them gain independence in daily activities.
  • Teach life skills and facilitate social activities to support community participation.
  • Follow Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
  • Work as part of a team to deliver a safe, enjoyable environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Experience supporting individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviours of distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories, and those who have experienced trauma.
  • Resilient, flexible and composed in approach.
  • Ability to reflect on practice and work with Positive Behaviour Support plans.
