What's involved with this role:
Triumph Consultants are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Officer to produce engaging digital content and support social media activity across Brentwood Borough Council and Rochford District Council. Contract is for 3 months in Brentwood CM15 8AY.
Social Media Officer
Pay Rate: Β£16.66-Β£17.90 per hour PAYE
Hours per week: 37 Monday β Friday, 8:30-17:00 (16:30 Fridays)
Contract length: 3 months
Location: Brentwood CM158AY
Hybrid β Up to 3 days in the office
Key requirements:
- Experience producing engaging social media video, images and written content.
- Strong image and video editing skills, including camera, lighting and sound recording.
- Experience managing and scheduling social media content in a business environment.
- Able to turn complex messages into clear, engaging content using words and visuals.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to work across both Council locations.
Key responsibilities:
- Create engaging written, graphic, video and photography content for social media and digital channels.
- Schedule, publish and monitor social media content, responding to audiences promptly and professionally.
- Monitor media and social coverage and identify emerging platforms, trends and opportunities.
- Collect, analyse and report insight from organic and paid social campaigns.
- Support communications campaigns and design multimedia assets, including graphics using Canva.

Anticipated Length of Assignment: Unless otherwise stated (we do carry the occasional permanent vacancy) all of our roles are technically temporary, though opening assignments can be and often are, extended by clients on a longer term basis and can sometimes become permanent.
